hometown: Newport News, VA
classification: Sophomore
interests: Martial Arts, Sailing, Music
stars blog: http://research.csc.ncsu.edu/stars/wiki/?q=blog/9
blurb: I've had experience in two major aspects of computer science already: first with networks and security (and general server administration) at a private computer security company, and second at Jefferson Lab with computer simulations dealing with lasers. In college I became involved with STARS my freshman year and was able to work with the City of Raleigh on their wireless mesh network project. I love the variety and complexity of computers and their related systems, and believe that this field is one that could never be boring to me.

But like Isaac Newton said...
"I do not know what I may appear to the world, but to myself I seem to have been only like a boy playing on the sea-shore, and diverting myself in now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me."

I used to go out for fishing, and quail hunting until one day I actually shot a bird and couldn't stop crying. Now, I am in school and trying to get out. That concludes my life story, details in between we can discuss personally okay:)
